1. TAYLORMADE HI-TOE 4

2023 was the year of golf at Durham Studio. A strong partnership with TaylorMade gave the studio an opportunity to work on the new and improved Hi-Toe4 copper wedge. A club made for all-terrain. All the time. Inspired by luxury watches, high contrast, and stark imagery — we focused on the craftsmanship and beauty behind one of the best wedges in the game.

2. 2023 LEAGUES CUP

In 2022 I moved to Portland, Oregon — working at Industry, we were given the task of reviving the MLS x Liga MX Leagues Cup soccer tournament. Through endless strategy, design iteration, and copywriting we created a new campaign: New world. New game.

3. NIKE AIR ZOOM MERCURIAL

In 2022 I moved to Portland, Oregon — working at Industry, we were given the task of introducing the new and improved Nike Air Zoom Mercurial boot. We created a set on Nike campus where we broadcasted an exclusive online event across the globe to tell the story of the Nike Mercurial through the years.

4. PABST LIGHT

Pabst reached out to Durham to introduce the brand new Pabst Light beverage line. We were tasked with creating 3D renders, packaging design, and motion strategy with assets and designs given to us from Pabst.

5. ADRIAN STEEL

Born in the small town of Adrian, Michigan, the brand carries with it the honesty, determination, and hands-on spirit that defines American industry. Built on grit, precision, and the pride of making things right, Adrian has quietly supported the trades for generations. Durham was tasked with developing a brand campaign that amplified the heart and history of Adrian Steel’s story to America.

6. JACK DANIEL’S COUNTRY COCKTAILS

Jack Daniel’s line of malt beverages, Country Cocktails, has been a Durham client for the past few years. Each year we introduce new flavors through key visuals, packaging, can/bottle designs, and point of sale.

7. MADISON MILE WAYFINDING

In 2024, Durham Studio was tasked with making up-and-growing Covington, Kentucky more accessible for locals and tourists. We created the “Madison Mile” — a mile-long stretch of road from the Ohio River to 10th Street.

8. CVG SOAR TO EXPLORE

CVG Airport, Cincinnati’s International Airport, partnered with Durham Studio to refresh their brand and strategy in an exciting way to promote domestic and international travel.

9. CINCINNATI REDS SCOUT CLUB

Durham partnered with the Cincinnati Reds to revamp the Scout’s Club in Great American Ballpark. Creating an immersive experience through light projection mapping and stat-forward video walls.

10. CREATIVE WORKERS UNION

A gear for the workers and a globe for the world they shape. Durham partnered with Josh Horton of Creative Works to build the new look for the Creative Workers Union, a movement that honors and celebrates craft, change, and community.

11. UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN FOOTBALL

When the head coach of the University of Cincinnati’s football team, Luke Fickell, was hired by the University of Wisconsin in 2023 — I joined the creative team in Madison, Wisconsin as a part-time graphic designer. There, I created hundreds of graphics for the football team and recruiting.

12. UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI FOOTBALL

On the first day of my freshman year of college, in 2019, I was hired as a graphic designer for the University of Cincinnati’s football team. Over those 4 years, I created hundreds of graphics, videos, and content for the team and recruiting. I was a part of the team that made history in the College Football Playoffs and ended my time with 3 rings.

13. ENABLE INJECTIONS VIAL TRANSFER

Enable Injections, is an innovative, wearable drug delivery platform designed to comfortably and conveniently deliver large volumes of medications subcutaneously. Since Durham branded the company years ago, we create videos each year to instruct consumers on how to use their devices.

14. VOA COUNTRY MUSIC FEST

In 2023, Cincinnati, Ohio hosted the first ever VOA Country Music Fest. A music festival headlining a handful of country legends. We created a brand identity, social media, promotional information, OOO, motion, and concert banners.

15. SIP’CINNATI: BUILT ON BEER

For my senior capstone project at the University of Cincinnati, I decided to combine three of my favorite things — beer, history, and graphic design. I explored the city and tried all the beers I could. I documented my own and others' experiences around drinking in the city.

JAKE BARRETT DESIGN
